SOME SENATORS IN WASHINGTON HAVE VOTED TO CUT DOCTORS' PAYMENTS AND HOLD BACK ASSISTANCE FOR LOW INCOME SENIORS RATHER THAN TRIM THE BILLIONS IN WASTEFUL SUBSIDIES NOW FLOWING TO PRIVATE MEDICARE INSURERS. Medicare Advantage plans cost taxpayers billions of dollars more than traditional Medicare and rob 18 months of solvency from the program. Americans must urge the Senate to vote for HR 6331 to trim these industry subsidies to prevent pay cuts for Medicare doctors and provide improved healthcare for low-income seniors.
